Our trip to Illinois!

Moline is where the headquarters are for John Deere, so we had to go.
Savanna found some new wheels.

She loved playing in this huge bucket.

In your face Orange Crush!

Three Generations of tractor lovers.

This is a painting of what the town of Moline looked like back in the day.
I think we fit right in.

Dave had to share his pool, poor Dave.

Savanna loved playing in the pool.

Savanna and Papa all tuckered out.

We went to a zoo in Moline.

Us riding the rhino.

Savanna checking out the goat. "What are you lookin' at?"

She found a new friend.

Papa, Grandma and Savanna.

We went on a Ferry Boat tour of the Mississippi River.
The bridge behind us is I-80 that connects Iowa and Illinois.

Savanna just wanted to play on the stairs the whole time,
silly girl.

This was our last night in Illinois so we walked down to the
river to take pictures.
It was a beautiful sunset.

Pretty blue eyes.

This is on Bill and Carol's landlords dock.
This month we drove to Illinois, it took 21 hours of driving. (Brandi, if you still want to drive to Indiana you are crazy.) We took our time and got there in three days. As you can see we stayed busy but we also had a lot of time to just hang out. It is beautiful, everything is green. Bill and Carol live only a half a block from the Mississippi River and it is awesome to see the huge boats haul stuff down the river. There is even a house that is built on an island on the Mississippi. We spent a day at Nauvoo while we were there, it is a really interesting place(forgot to take pics). We got to watch fireworks over the river, very cool and we missed the annual tug a war between IL and IA, they drag a huge rope from one side of the river to the other, they say they are trying to pull the two sides together. It would have been fun to watch. We were there for a week and then we flew back home, I definitely recommend flying, much faster. We had a lot of fun we will definitely do it again.
